Norman Normandy®

A hardwood shutter made from the Paulownia tree, also known as the "tree of eternity". This tree captures more carbon compared to other trees and regenerates from the stump to be ready for harvest in 7-8 years, making this shutter extremely environmentally friendly. In addition, it offers rich, consistent wood characteristics and unparalleled resilience. An excellent choice for curved or specialty angled shapes.

This top of the line hardwood shutter uses eco-friendly materials that are hand sanded and painted/stained multiple times to ensure a superior-premium translucent finish. In addition to the many finishes offered, you can also have them custom color matched to your favorite wallpaper or fabric. They are available with a traditional tilt, an invisible tilt, or a motorized tilt option that is perfect for skylights or hard to reach windows. Norman Sussex® shutters are designed for those who demand the best, yet appreciate understated refinement.

This shutter comes standard with Advanced Aquashield™ waterproofing to resist moisture, shrinking, and warping, while remaining lightweight and beatiful. Woodbury® shutters are perfect for bathrooms or other high-humidity areas. They are available in an array of white and off-white colors and offer a wide panel up to 36” to allow a more unobstructed view.
